PhD studentResearch Overview
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering at LancasterUniversity. My current research focuses on advancing the field of distributed energy systems, specifically targeting the optimal allocation of Distributed Generation (DG) and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS). The primary objective is to develop efficient and sustainable solutions using meta-heuristic techniques. Here is a concise overview of my research interests:
- Distributed Generation (DG)
- Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS)
- Metaheuristic Optimization Techniques
- Sustainable Energy Systems
In the context of DG and EVCS allocation, my work aims to enhance the optimal placement and sizing of these energy assets, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, environmental impact, and social considerations. The goal is to contribute to the development of smart and sustainable energy infrastructure by leveraging advanced optimization methodologies. My research aligns with the broader efforts in optimizing energy systems for a cleaner and more resilient future.
